The Kingdom Of The Blind (May 8, 2010)
I was reminded that breaking away from language conformity could be a taboo.
What's the point of using any English words that we thought we wanted it to be the way we meant but others don't understand what we are trying to say?
Language does not have to be the way it used to be. The ex-beauty queen was never wrong when she spoke in her own lingo which perhaps was what she and her friends understood about herself. Does anyone think it really matter for the others to understand her?
I don't expect anyone to understand what I'm talking about. That is not important. It could be a form of fate. Those who understand what I'm talking about, needs no introduction. You will know whether if you understand what I'm talking about, isn't it?
I am not sure if the sun is really rising from the east or setting in the west. I am not sure if a car is also an automobile or a four-wheeler or a drag-machine. Can a Go-kart be considered a car since it is powered by a motor-engine?
We see people making a spectacle of themselves. When there's two, it's called a pair, and a pair of spectacles can be called glasses as well. But some glasses might not be made of glass. You can use glasses to hold your drinks. Drinks can be a glass of lemon tea, liquor or coke. But the police say,"When you drink, don't drive." Do you know that you can go to jail for possession of coke? So which is which?
Whoever said the people who started the English language was right? It's all the work of human, followed by the blind.
I've heard that in the Kingdom of the Blind, The Man with the Sight is King.
